DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR STORM DRAINS FLOW?
Foss Creek originates at the northern limits of Healdsburg, and flows through the city to its confluence with Dry Creek near the US101 Central Healdsburg interchange. It is a tributary of the Russian River and is Healdsburg’s principal waterway, carrying the storm drain run-off from roughly two-thirds of the City’s area.
The Foss Creek pathway offers a flat, paved trail to enjoy the creek in the City of Healdsburg. It is lined with public art and is also a nice place to watch for wildlife. Several restoration and conservation programs focus on reestablishing native plants and removing invasive species.
